The Riverwalk Lucky Duck Race is a fundraiser between the Paseo del Rio Association (PDRA), a non-profit dedicated to promoting San Antonio's Riverwalk and Haven for Hope, the new homeless campus serving Bexar County.
Homelessness is a problem on the Riverwalk, this issue presents a perfect opportunity for a partnership between PDRA and Haven for Hope. They hope to adopt out 10,000 rubber duckies and race them on the famous Riverwalk on August 21st. The money raised benefits the continuing efforts of H4H and PDRA.

The 2010 United Way Duck Race was on June 5, 2010 in Kearney, Nebraska. The race, which was part of Heritage Days at Yanney Park, benefited United Way of the Kearney Area.
Matrimonial Twist at the 19th Annual Ducky Derby in Aspen
Aspen Rotary Club‘s biggest day of the year was this past Saturday, August 14th. The 19th annual Ducky Derby kicked off at Rio Grande Park in Aspen, Colorado at 2pm. It was another successful race, raising over $140,000!
Part-time Aspen residents Gayleen Dent and Michael Rothrock also celebrated their biggest day on Saturday; their wedding. They exchanged their vows Saturday morning at Newbury Pary, next to the Roaring Fork River where over 25,000 Derby Ducks floated by shortly after.

The race took place on July 4th in the Woodlands, TX. All the proceeds benefited Montgomery County Emergency Assistance, a private non-profit entity created in 1981 to serve the residents of Montgomery County who are experiencing an unexpected financial need or crisis.
Derby Duck Network is the only place that brings racers and their organizations together for continued support and awareness.
